Rakesh Ranjan, Senior Lecturer and Language Coordinator, Department of Middle Eastern, South Asian, and African Studies (MESAAS), has been awarded the Lenfest Distinguished Faculty Award for 2022-23
Within the Arts and Sciences, Columbia recognizes the excellence of our faculty – as teachers, scholars, and mentors within and outside the classroom – through the Lenfest Distinguished Columbia Faculty Award. Established in 2005 by a gift from late University Trustee Gerry Lenfest, awardees are nominated by students and faculty with final selections by the Executive Committee of Arts and Sciences.
